The current controls were put in place on January 5 and extended by Executive Decree on July 5. The original initiative was created by Executive Decree No. in July 2014 and originally was only valid for six months. The price of the basic food basket has continued to rise in recent months. The order establishes a maximum selling price for 22 products.
