At the Extraordinary Plenary Assembly of the Comjib, which is currently taking place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Panama was chosen to prepare the XXI Plenary Assembly of Ministers of Justice to be held in Colombia in June 2019, the Mingob said. The Comjib groups together the Ministries of Justice and similar institutions of the countries of the Ibero-American Community, and aims to study and promote forms of legal cooperation among the member states. It is also an observer body of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
