  7. The donor tells us this is a replica (i.e. "knock-off") of a very famous and very expensive watch. This one is a very good replica, almost impossible to tell the differences even by a watch expert. Some watches tend to stand out through brand name, others through durability and others through an out of this world design. The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore is the type of watch that manages to stand out due to all three of these aspects. Because this one needs some work by a watch repair specialist, the Boquete Handicap Foundation has priced it at just $25. Email Penny at pjbarrett@aol.com or text WhatsAp at 6510-8934.
  8. The donor tells us that this is a replica of the famous Pasha watch by Cartier. The origin of the Pasha de Cartier begins in 1931 or 32, when The Pasha of Marrakesh, Thami El Glaoui, ordered a one-of-a-kind watch from Louis Cartier. A gold watch, resilient enough to keep pace with the Pasha’s active lifestyle, and one that could boast a level of water-resistance that was uncommon for the time. The solution was a watch with a (comparatively) large diameter, a crown cover and metal grid to protect the dial. This is the legend and is substantiated only by a photograph from 1943 of a watch that does look quite a lot like the modern Cartier The watch comes in a nice box and is in excellent condition needing only a new battery to be fully operational. It would make a nice Christmas present for your favorite male friend (or son) or yourself. The Boquete Handicap Foundation would like to sell this handsome watch for $60. No tax; no shipping costs. Email Penny at pjbarrett@aol.com or text WhatsAp 6510-8934.
  9. This large, vintage, hand-painted display plate was donated to the Boquete Handicap Foundation by a lady who purchased it more than 30 years ago in China. It is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. The story of the plate is: the Chinese Emperor is sailing in his royal yacht, that is why you can see the yacht is different than the others. The stand is a beautifully crafted hardwood. The plate measures 18" in diameter and the height including the stand is 22.5". Similar newer plates sell on the internet for as much as $703 (plus shipping). The Boquete Handicap Foundation would like to sell this lovely display piece for $180. Email Penny at pjbarrett@aol.com or text WhatsAp 6510-8934.
  10. The owner of this beautiful hand-painted Chinese ceramic jewelry box has donated it to the Boquete Handicap Foundation because she wants to down-size her sizable collection. She purchased the box in Hong Kong more than 30 years ago. The box is large enough to store much of your jewelry or other valuables. Or use it for spices in your kitchen. The box is heavy and sturdy and measures 8" wide, 4" deep, and 3.5" high. There are no cracks or chips on this lovely box. Similar newer Chinese boxes are for sale on the internet between $165 and $293 (plus shipping). The Boquete Handicap Foundation would be very happy to receive $130 for this treasure. We use the money to assist our handicapped members and their families during these difficult times. Email Penny at pjbarrett@aol.com or text WhatsAp 6510-8934.

  12. These beautiful large porcelain pots were purchased by our donor in Hong Kong 30 years ago and donated now to the Boquete Handicap Foundation as she down-sizes her collection. She believes they were made and painted in China. Each pot has three traditional Chinese scenes painted on it -- cranes, lotus blossoms, and bamboo shoots. All are considered good luck in Chinese traditional mythology. The pots are large: 8.5" tall, 13" in diameter, and 8" opening for your plants.
