This very beautiful pair of Chinese vases was purchased in Hong Kong more than 40 years ago and was recently donated to the Boquete Handicap Foundation to help support their many services to the least fortunate in our community. These vases measure 12" high and about 6" in diameter. They are in perfect condition with no chips and no cracks. Similar vases sell on the internet for hundreds of dollars. The Boquete Handicap Foundation offers to sell these vases either individually or as a pair. We have priced them at $50 a piece or $85 for the pair.   4. Four beautiful antique Chinese stacking food boxes plus lid originally used to serve various dishes at the dinner table. 11" high and 8" x 8" square. This very collectible piece was donated to the Boquete Handicap Foundation by a local lady who purchased it in Hong Kong more than 35 years ago. These stacking boxes have been wonderfully preserved with no chips or cracks. This piece would make a very nice Christmas gift for someone.   6. This lovely Chinese vase was purchased more than 35 years ago and just now donated to the Boquete Handicap Foundation. It was purchased in Hong Kong by a local lady now wanting to down-size her collection. The vase is slender and delicate and is the perfect flower vase with its tall neck feature. The 12.5" height works well on any table top and its simple floral design won't detract from your other collectibles.. The vase is flawless with no chips or cracks.   13. It's difficult to photograph a mirror. This one is hand made in the Philippines and was purchased by the donor more than 35 years ago. The frame is hand carved hard wood and then overlaid with natural blue coral. Blue Coral live only in the Indo-Pacific in the tropics of the Indian and Pacific oceans and they are unusual in that they are blue in color, they have a blue skeleton — all other corals just about have white skeletons — and also in that they haven't changed in their form for over 60-70 million years. The mirror stands 22" high and is 13" wide. It's in perfect condition. This prized piece was donated to the Boquete Handicap Foundation by a local lady wishing to downsize her collection and to help support the programs of the Handicap Foundation.   14. These two picture frames were purchased by the donor more than 35 years ago in the Philippines. The large one is 10" high and the smaller one is 7" high. We've reduced the price of these frames to $20 because the small one needs some minor repair in the back (not visible from the front). These frames were donated to the Boquete Handicap Foundation by a local lady wishing to down-size her collection. They have never been used.   15. This bike is sold new for $320 - $400, depending on the site (Ebay, Amazon and others). The second-hand price is high. (When new, the bike comes in parts in a box, when used it is already put together.) This donated bike was not used much and is in like new condition. The bike can be inspected at the Boquete Handicap Center in Alto Boquete across the street from Chopsticks Chinese Restaurant. The center is open Mon-Friday from 9-2. There is a users manual and a small toolkit that go with the bike. The Boquete Handicap Foundation would like to get $160 for the bike. Stop by the center to inspect it and buy it.
  16. This large beautiful Thai fan was purchased more than 35 years ago in Thailand by the donor. It is made of very thin, translucent cow leather that has been cut and hand painted. The Boquete resident donated it to the Handicap Foundation because she is wanting to downsize her collection of antiques and collectibles. The fan is in perfect condition. If you were going to frame this fan, the frame would have to be more than 26" wide and more than 16" high. A similar leather Thai fan is listed for sale on the internet for $200.   19. This little vintage Moroccan teapot was donated to the Boquete Handicap Foundation by a local collector wishing to down-size her collection. The teapot is made of polished brass with a raised Moroccan pattern. It is about 7" tall. You’ll fall in love with this exquisite Moroccan teapot adorned with a classic cultural embossed motif, whether you’re hosting a gathering or indulging yourself with a hot cup of tea.   24. The donor tells us this is a replica (i.e. "knock-off") of a very famous and very expensive watch. This one is a very good replica, almost impossible to tell the differences even by a watch expert. Some watches tend to stand out through brand name, others through durability and others through an out of this world design. The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore is the type of watch that manages to stand out due to all three of these aspects.
