Friday, meeting at 8:30 A.M. in the Plaza San Francisco parking lot located in Alto Boquete. Remember to park your car along the side road. leaving at 8:35.
Just a reminder about EZ Friday it's about nature, we take our time finding the unusual. This is a great walk for birders, nature buffs, we try to identify plant life, birds and insects. It may not be for those wanting to walk the fast lane, as, we walk as a group.
Our walk will be in Alto Boquete in the community of Saboney. We will carpool a short distance from PSF. The last time was walked this area was during the dry season back in March. Now, I am curious to see how it looks with all the rain that has fallen.
A brief description about the trail, it's off the beaten path tucked away from all traffic and cars, it has the Rio Caldera flowing in the not so deep canyon below the path, we may see ducks swimming in a small creek alongside the path and more. This is a short walk lasting 2 plus hours and am sure you will enjoy the nature that surrounds this trail.
Pack rain gear, water, camera, binocs, cap/hat, wear bug spray and sunblock as well hiking shoes or shoes with good outer sole treads.
