Wednesday July 12, 2017 meeting at 8:30 A.M., Alto Boquete in the Plaza San Francisco parking lot. When driving park on the side road. We leave at 8:35 carpooling to Caldera.
Caldera is another one of Boquete's wonderful and interesting places to walk. Wednesday we will be on a lonely country lane with the town people who live in this quiet area of Caldera riding on horseback to to town. Caldera is a sleepy no frills town. I hope you join us for this 3 hour walk as, we take in natural beauty, the cattle and/or horses roaming on this road or listen to the Rio Chiriqui Grande flowing alongside this lane and the huge boulders that have been nestled in this river, for centuries or the Crimson Red Jobo fruit (Jamaican Plum) and mangos are in season. Caldera is warmer than Boquete so dress lightly.
Remember to pack: Rain gear, this time take along a snack, plenty of water, hat/cap, sun block definitely, bug spray, binocs and a camera.
Nature walks are all about finding the unusual.
Join us for the each Wednesday morning for a two plus walk or the popular EZ Friday Nature Walk also for 2 hours, meeting time 8:30 A.M. No need to RSVP just show up
