We meet this Friday at 8:30 A.M. in the Plaza San Francisco parking lot at 8:35, we carpool to enjoy a nature walk in the Alto Dorado area.
Our nature walk lasting 1-1/2 hours will take us along a seldom used country road, then a meadow, when we leave the meadow, we make a loop back to our cars. This week's terrain will be flatter than last week's walk, although as, you know this is Boquete and nothing is totally flat.
Nature walking is enjoying the outdoors and being with nature. It's about looking around and finding the beauty in nature such as; a tiny colorful beetle on a leaf, maybe it would be a bee resting on a flower, a hummingbird flying about, moss dangling from a tree, how about the 50 shades of green surrounding us as we walk along a path during Boquete's rainy season or raising your head as you up at the sky to see some gorgeous cloud formations. You can see of this on a nature walk.
Pack rain gear, water, cap/hat, bug spray, camera and binocs. Wear hiking shoes and bring your hiking sticks, I have some to loan.
