We meet in front of Sugar & Spice again at 8:30 A.M leaving at 8:35 as, then car pool to Bajo Mono to hiked the Cascada Escondida as the locals call it and/or as the gringos have named it The Pipeline Trail.
On that morning, we may hear and see the Resplendent Quetzales as their season is beginning.

This is one of the favorite trails in Boquete for birders. The trail is in shade, in semi-rain forest and the trail is marked. Cascada Escondida has some very old trees, one in particular dates back to 1,000 years. This hike will be run about 3 hours.

Pack water, snack, bug spray, cap/hat, binocs and your camera.
Wear hiking boots and bring your hiking sticks (I have some to loan).
Here are a few photos from the trail. Just show up - no need to RSVP.
