Theater Workshops

Hello Theater lovers!  I am very pleased to announce our first theater

workshop sessions.

 

Saturday March 16, 10:30am - 12:30pm at Mary's Place - driving

directions included below.

What is Theater?  - Co facilitated with Gabrielle Reynolds.

How do we tell stories, and beyond that, how do we tell stories well? We

will talk about the structure of the theater team and how we all work

together and what all the different roles are and why they are

important.  I will also invite you to share about your dream project, if

you could do anything in theater, what do you want to do?

 

Saturday March 16, 2:00 Vocal Masterclass - Tap Out BCP room. 

Co-facilitated with Kelle Sparta

This class started three weeks ago and is held every other week.

Those of you interested in singing are welcome to join any time.

 

Saturday March 23, 3:00pm - 5:00pm at Tap Out

Intro to Stage Presence - Co-facilitated with Kelle Sparta

Many of you marked that performing on stage was your number one

interest.  This class is for you. Let's work on some skills and gain

some experience to help us all be more and look more comfortable on the

stage.

 

Saturday March 30 2:00 Vocal Masterclass workshop at Tap Out

 

 

Future - I plan to hold these theater workshops once a week on Saturday,

but the time will be decided each week as we decide what topic to cover

next and I find co-facilitators to help lead each group.  I hope that

you can attend all of the theater workshops to get a good overview of

how everyone works together.  Our ulterior motive is that we can all get

to know each other and how we work best so we will be ready to put on

our full season shows in a few months.

The concept for these workshops is for us all to work together to share

our knowledge and learn from each other as a community, so theater folks

of all levels of experience are encouraged to join.

Directions to Mary's Place

From Bajo Boquete - go down to the Texaco and take the Retorno to turn

back toward town.

Just beyond Buen Queso at the next possible street, turn right into

Jardines de Boquete.

Turn left, right, then immediate right again onto Calle las Margaritas.

Drive down to near the end of the street to the house with the orange

gated fence.  #10.

Please park down just one side of the street so cars can still access

the end of the road. Thanks!
