Police officers intervened on the weekend in two clandestine parties, activities known as parking lots.

In the Samaria sector, San Miguelito district, two people suffered personal injuries as a result of a fight at an unauthorized party, while in El Chorrillo, some 32 people were apprehended, including several minors.

Police deputy commissioner Fernando Vargas said that in Samaria talks were held to get people to leave for their homes, but by ignoring it, intervention units went to the area to evict them.

On the other hand, the clandestine parking in El Chorrillo was taking place in the 24 de Diciembre buildings popularly known as La 15 pisos, the Police said.

Deputy Commissioner Roberto Rodríguez said that it was necessary to use the Crowd Control units since there were more than 200 people in the place, listening to music at high decibels.

Investigations determine that there was ingestion of alcoholic beverages and the minors were made available to the Police Service for Children and Adolescents.

Five people were injured by firearms in a clandestine parking lot party during the early hours of Sunday, July 16, in the Don Bosco Corregimiento, Las Acacias neighborhood.

The National Police authorities moved to the Las Acacias sector, where investigations are being carried out to identify and capture those responsible for the violent incident.

Deputy Commissioner Francisco Mela, Chief of the Don Bosco Police Zone, reported that a group of people were in the clandestine parking lot consuming alcoholic beverages when the altercation occurred.

According to preliminary reports, during the clandestine meeting, there was a discussion that quickly escalated, leading to the bringing up of firearms. As a result, five individuals, including a minor under the age of 17, were shot.

The arrival of the National Police at the place was made difficult by the denial of access to the residential area. However, with the collaboration of the Public Ministry, they managed to enter and arrest the owner of the house where the illegal event was taking place.

The authorities call on the public to avoid participating in this type of clandestine activities, since they usually end in tragedies with injuries and even fatalities. In addition, anyone with relevant information about the case is requested to approach the authorities to help clarify the facts and bring those responsible to justice.
