This year, Haiti has experienced a resurgence of cholera cases, which has left more than 10 dead, and the Minsa is closely following the situation in the Caribbean country and invites the population to maintain hygiene measures such as hand washing and disinfection of objects. The Ministry, through the General Directorate of Public Health, began the process of updating this National Guide for the Comprehensive Approach to Cholera, due to the outbreak in Haiti and the formulation of the budgeted execution plan for the response to the contingency.
