A significant rain alert until  December 2, was reiterated by the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) on Monday, November 29.

The conditions, according to the entity, are associated with the interaction of various atmospheric systems in the region, worsening the weather.

The province of Bocas del Toro, Ngäbe Bugle region, Veraguas Norte, Colón province, Guna Yala region, Chiriquí Highlands, and marine sectors are the areas of the country that are kept under surveillance due to accumulated rains per day: from 40 to 100 MM or liters of water per square meter
