Keith Woolford
There has been some speculation and incorrect reports published about the quality of water in the municipal system. The results of recent tests by the Ministry of Health show the water to be treated and potable. Here are two updates from the Mayor and the Chief of Engineering. Keith Woolford
All that being said about water conforming to potability standards where it was tested, there is still plenty of opportunity for contamination within the distribution system before it gets to your home. It's probably best practice to boil drinking water.

It's probably best practice to boil drinking water. Or invest in a filtration system with UV water treatment. There are plenty of ways to ingest water without actually drinking it, e.g., brushing your teeth, showering, and washing raw vegetables for salads or appetizers.
