Thanks for the suggestion. I have been very frustrated with USTVnow lately on Kodi for that very reason.

The BCP is a great place for stage productions. However, after attending the last performance of Send Me Back to Panama there, I am of the opinion that the music is better suited to a different venue - one where people can get up out of their seats and dance. The band is tight, the performances are invigorating and the music is great, but just sitting there watching seems a little strange. Just my two cents.

Deborah of CHOX: know anything about asking price for these units; completion date?
Sorry, no.
-
I heard the same thing (without the number of units) from friends who stopped and asked someone who was there at the time. The name on the marquee is something like Residencial Frances, so that seems about right.

To the right of the topic (on my laptop) is a count of the number of posts, and the person who last posted and when. Click on the time (e.g. 48 minutes ago) and you go directly to that last post.

Dear Admins,
In case you missed it, several people over in the "request or education" post are noting that the time to edit (5 minutes) is a little too short and would prefer to have it increased to 15. I am with them.

More info: even if you're within your 5 minutes and click to start on the button to start editing, you had better finish quickly! Last night, I tried to edit a response seemingly right after I sent it, but by the time I re-worked it, it was too late to submit.

CHOX is one of the few local customers of COCABO, an agricultural co-op in Almirante, near Bocas del Toro. For the most part, they export it. All European chocolate, by the way, is made from cacao grown elsewhere - the Ivory Coast, Central America and other places within 20 degrees of the equator. There is no cacao in Belgium, Switzerland, France...

From .ning:
Maybe referring to Carne Xpress/Palacio de Carne?
Its right across the street from the Palacio Imperial Hotel.
The owner is Alexander Pineda, from Volcan.
From the InterAmerican, turn at Auto DK (thats the area with Hopsa/Mae Lewis and Cochez)
About 3 blocks down is the Palacio and butcher shop. From me: it's on the left side, bright green building. He has American cuts and will cut to order.- 1

JoJo,
I was at the meeting. I heard first hand Capt Arauz state that one minor, under the age of 14, had been released. Another older one remains in custody, at least as of last night. It is not possible to link to the source, but his phone number, which he gave out last night, is 6550-0338 if you wish to call.

I'm with Dav.....a floating "home" and "top of page" button would make things so much easier as contributions to topics grow and the page becomes increasingly long.

Once again, has there been any official confirmation or denial that juveniles apprehended were released back into the community? I suggest that the first pressure brought to bear should be that the authorities give the community a full and complete report of what happened (how many, ages, e.g.) and what is happening to those apprehended. We are operating largely off rumor and unconfirmed media reports.
Yes, there was confirmation. Dianne insisted on knowing and Capt. Arauz confirmed that at least one minor was released because he is under 14 and can't be prosecuted. He was also very adamant that the problem is not with the NP, who did their job by apprehending these people, but rather with the ministry of justice (?) that releases them.

Has anyone seen something like this in David, most likely in a hardware/construction place? mylarbubblewrap.pdf

The paperwork can be done from here, but you have to go to Panama once to finalize it. No getting around that that I know of, but you can ask to have the card sent to Boquete and pick it up from the Registro Publico (on the street behind Sugar&Spice) when it's ready, rather than making a return trip.

We proudly celebrated our 1 year anniversary (of opening the shop) this past Saturday and had a wonderful turnout. The fact that we were offering free treats probably helped. Even so, we thank everyone who came by or wished us well and we're especially happy to have seen so many new faces and gained so many new customers. Making chocolate and living in Boquete; it doesn't get much better than that!
