  1. Hi. Just saw your post on this. The best stuff is phosphoric acid, also called Ospho, but is hard to find. Possibly at Productos Ibis, a chemical supply store in David. We have some if you want a little bit (but we are not in Boquete). Most hardware stores also sell a product for this, but I can't remember the name; it's a paste. Have you checked Ivan's?
  2. Well, now they say mine is the only incident with this issue, so I told them I had been in contact with someone else who had the same experience, and they asked "Can you confirm your friend's name or email address so we can correlate the issue". Do you want to email privately, or I can tell them it was on a public community forum.
  3. Good to know I am not the only one. Customer Service has been responsive but after jumping through all the hoops they suggested with no improvement, a couple of days ago they said they would move my account to a delivery area closer to my ISP. There is still no change. It's weird; the only (free) channel that does not produce a black screen is Fox.
  4. Is anyone else having problems accessing USTVnow? We have been on a free account for a few years but now it has not been working for a few weeks. The Guide comes up but when a channel is selected there is only a black screen.
  5. These items will be at the Chiriqui Storage Flea Market this Sunday, April 2. Everything must go! We don't want to take anything back home. Some of these items, like the LogiTech stereo headset, are new in the box, never used. The keyboard case is custom made and super nice. The Smart Tiles are truly amazing, peel-and-stick that you wouldn't believe look just like real tiles but are easy to install and way less expensive; I'd love to use them but our plans changed and so they are available for someone else. 6455 8629 or 6818 2342
  6. Very nice small refrigerator. Daewoo model PR-1261E, 9 cu ft, two-door, silver, 21"W x65"H x24.5"D, 1.1A, 115W, made in Mexico (not China). New, used only a few days. We would love to keep it, but our off-grid battery system doesn't have quite enough power to run it. Paid $390, will sell for $350 obo. call 6455 8629
  7. Has anyone recently gone between Tocumen and the Colon dock? Two very respected and reliable taxi drivers have quoted $150 ($100 from Allbrook, but the Copa flights to Tocumen suit our schedule better than AirPanama to Allbrook). I know the bus from Allbrook is way less expensive, but it involves transferring from taxis to busses to taxis in both Panama City and Colon, and we are less agile and adventurous than when we were younger. Are there comfortable but less expensive alternatives?
