Sometimes there's good news. Thanks for posting this. What a beautiful animal!

Here's what the Trump kids do with the money they make off of Trump Ocean Club. That's an elephant's tail proud Donny Jr. is holding.

This has been on the news today. Also financed by Mexican drug cartels and other low lifes.
Trump Ocean Club, a laundromat of washed money. Though the Trump family said they only licensed their name and have nothing to do with it, they are making money on it.

I definitely qualify under the "no property rule,, but does anyone know the process to get on that system? Thanks.
You need to talk to an attorney. These things can be complicated.

Yes, about time! Those lights blind me. One of the reasons I only drive at night if I have to.

In my latest email edition of Best Places in the World to Retire, I note and applaud the following article by Mr. Bolotin. Those considering a move abroad deserve to know what they will be up against. Let's give credit where it's due.

Sounds like Panama, though Panama seems to be better in some of those areas.

My rule is, if I'm scared of it or don't understand it, I would not invest in it.

Wilson, sometimes when you get "no stream available", the movie is just too new to be available. Even though there is a choice on the menu of "in theaters", usually you can't get these until they are older.

First report in 6.8 in costa rica
https://www.emsc-csem.org/Earthquake/seismologist.php
its up on usgs site now 6.8. It is a really long way from here this earthquake has to have caused a lot of damage in Costa Rica including San Jose, I hope I am wrong. Also wonder if we have a tsunami problem as it happens on the cost just south of San Jose.
I couldn't find it on that chart. Here's another one showing depth. A depth of 20 km is shallow. That's why we felt it.
M 6.5 - 16km SE of Jaco, Costa Rica
- Time
- 2017-11-13 02:28:24 (UTC)
- Location
- 9.526°N 84.505°W
- Depth
- 19.8 km
- There appears to be no tsunami threat. http://www.tsunami.gov/
- This site says the depth was 6 miles, very shallow.

Now down graded to a 6.5. Jaco is over 170 miles from here. I am in caldera, that was a really lot of movement for an earthquake that was so far away. It does not make sense.
It gently rolled on and on, a very long one.

Can you be more specific about which boric acid powder to order on Amazon? Thanks. I’m going to try your method to rid ants from our house.
You can buy boric acid powder at most of the pharmacies in Boquete.

Hmm, someone said that the Indigenous folks are working on building a giant catapult because Google will only pay off if the satellite goes back where it came from.
This stuff reminds me of the old flick ‘The Gods Must be Crazy.’
As I recall, a Kalahari Bushman found a coke bottle that was dropped from an airplane. That bottle messed up their whole culture in odd ways. The movie was profound and also funny.

MSG ?
No, msg is white. I don't know what it was. The label was Chinese. But it did have English instructions. They have it at Super Ivan. There is another kind for cucarachas.

LOL! Did he fall in love many times after he was dead or before?

Boric Acid. Sure cure. Cheap and safe...weak solutions are used in medicine for such things as eye wash and irrigations of sensitive skin.
It wasn't boric acid. It was something from China, a yellow powder. I have tried boric acid and had no success with it.

This is the screen that came up. It did not say "Property Number". It said "Usario/RUC" on the first box, and "NIT" on the second. I put in the property number, but since I did not know the NIT, left it blank. The post seemed to indicate the NIT was optional, but it didn't work without the NIT. If anybody successfully navigates the site, would you please tell me how you did it?

I sent her an email, and she sent me this one https://dgi.mef.gob.pa/
This one worked. When I clicked on the one in Keith's post it didn't work. ???

In the original communication it is spelled incorrectly.
Geez, how can someone make a post and not bother to proofread and test a website address, which obviously will not work if it's misspelled? I entered both dgi and dig. Neither of them worked. Perhaps it's the mef part that's wrong. I think she needs to try again.

Well, Bonnie here is our experience:
We are in Brisas Boquetenas, at around 2600 feet. Depending on traffic.
Our pest report after 2 years:
Snakes, 4 total, 1 coral, 1 green, 1 black/blue, one ??? ( was moving too fast )
Scorpians, 2 in the house virtually on their last leg. ( no pun intended) Easy kill
Spiders, too many to count. Hello Christian Pitti
Ants, Dry season, hundreds, CHD Services Pest Control. Gotta love Cristian Pitti
Mosquitoes, a lot less than the first year...go figure!
Cane Toads, 6 or 7 lost count. Nasty critters. Pet killer for sure!
Wasps and bees, Were the hell are they? Need that pollination thing going on!
Beetle bugs, or whatever the hell you call them. Seasonal. come inside to die. Life everlast I guess.
Termites, a few in our new kitchen cabinets....hello Cristian Pitti! Whew..saved the day and cabinets. This guy knows his stuff!
Sales/ religious solicitation, too many to mention.
No Ticks, no Fleas, no Errors. Dogs are on Seresto tick and flea collars.
If I missed any bug, in particular, please do not take offense.
So what is bugging your area?
After Christian Pitti's treatment did nothing to kill a heavy ant infestation in my house, a friend gave me a 75 cent packet of an ant killing powder. I put it on all the ant trails. It probably took a teaspoon in all (and there was half a packet left). The ants dutifully carried the powder back to their nests. In 3 days all the ants were gone. I haven't seen one ant in over a year and a half. So I figure getting rid of those ants cost about 30 cents.

The link www.dig.mef.gob.pa does not work. All I get is "page not found". Has anybody else reached it successfully?

Looking back, I misread it, so yes, they probably do not have TriCare.

I went back to reread the HuffPost article three times. Nowhere do I read that they were career military. They indicate that they were military in the early part of their married life. If he was career military then why would he have had an issue with the cost of the medical care in the US? The services would have picked up the tab if that was the case.
What am I overlooking here?
Since they had been to Panama twice with the military, it seemed they weren't just in for 4 years, but longer term. Hard to tell, but it is a possibility they were career military, based on that statement.

They don’t mention having health insurance. While routine medical visits are inexpensive, they may be singing a different tone when his diabetes and/or heart issues require hospitalization.
They were career military, so probably have TriCare, which can be used at some hospitals in Panama.

If anybody cares about these animals as much as I do, please go to this website and help stop people like these soul-less monsters. Yes, this applies to Panama. They made millions on Trump Ocean Club, and this is how they chose to use some of that money.
