*This Friday meeting at 8:30 A.M. in the Plaza San Francisco parking lot in Alto Boquete. Leaving at 8:35 carpooling to to our destination. Our walks will be along the beautifulLa Estrellachannel to the reservoir and then some, for about an hour and a half. This is a wonderful nature walk as, we may see a some orchids, wild ginger, horses roaming the area, birds such as the Oropendolas, waterfowl such as the Jacuna or Heron and more because, we just never know; it's always an adventure.
*Our walks are all about nature, as, we stop many times to look at the flora surrounding us or stop to take photos of an interesting butterfly and more. This trail is level until, we go halfway around the reservoir"La Represa La Estrella"and then, we continue walking up into a pine tree lined road for a short while. This walk is out and back.
*The trail is not shaded you will need to cover your head to protect you face from the sun and wear sun block. Put bug spray on before, we begin walking.
*What to bring? Pack water, hat/cap, sun block, bug spray, camera and your binocs.
*No need to RSVP - just show up.
See you on the trail,
Jere McCormick
