Wednesday July 23rd (World Whale and Dolphin Day) we'll leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria, drive to Jaramillo Centro and hike the Finca Castelara. This is a 2+ hour hike over a gravel street and paved driveway with long steep hills, level 8 for distance and difficulty. Bring water.
I talked with the owner of Malu restaurant - they now have a fruit salad. For those new in the last 5 years, we used to go to a restaurant where Panda is now (across from the library) for a great breakfast after our hikes that included a fantastic fruit salad and hojaldre. You're invited to join us after the hike - let's see if it's as good as before.
