On the last Sunday of every month (except November and December) Amigos de Animales holds spay/neuter clinics. Since 2005, working in Boquete and the surrounding areas, we have sterilized almost 30,000 animals. This has been accomplished with support from local and regional vets as well as vets who come here from the US to donate their time and expertise to our clinics.
(Starting in January 2022 we increased our prices to $20 for a dog and $10 for a cat, but we never turn anyone away if they can't pay the full amount.)
