Presentation of the book Panama Moderno

In charge of two professors with several decades of research, Michael L. Conniff and Gene E. Bigler, Modern Panama:  From occupied territory to the center of the Americas, it focuses on the fast-paced Panamanian history since the Torrijos-Carter Treaties entered into force in 1979. Just published by the City of Knowledge and the Novo Art Editor, this work, translated into Spanish by Adrienne Samos and extended by Guillermo Castro, will be presented at the Boquete Library  on Sunday, August 18, 2019, at 4:00 pm.  The authors will be present to talk with the public and sign their books.

‘Who wants to know our recent past ... you will find in this book almost anything you should know. With this work they give us an extraordinary legacy '. (Alfredo Castillero-Calvo)
