Tuesday, September 11-This session will begin with a video on the energy arts. It was created by the most influential Tai Chi teacher in the United States, Bruce Frantzis. He rejected a full undergraduate scholarship at Harvard to study energy arts in Asia for 20 years . Tai Chi and Chi Gung are techhniques for using energy ("chi") to heal, reverse aging, prevent illness and defend oneself. They connect with the body/mind/ spirit and the basic energies of the universe. Their employment counterbalances the tension and stress of modern life and helps return us to our original state. After the video, Bill Witt will answer questions. He has 33 years experience (20 with a Grand Master) in Michigan and has studied with 6 masters in Canada, where he taught for 10 years. Bill taught for 2 years in Boquete, and will approach Tai Chi/Chi Gung from the perspective of these arts as moving meditations which keep the body flexible and
healthy.
