Keith Woolford Posted March 31, 2017 Share Posted March 31, 2017 Boquete Orchid Fair expected to draw 30,000+ visitors The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Feria de Flores y Café, Reynaldo Serracin, announced Tuesday that more than 30 thousand visitors are expected during the orchid Expo othat will take place from 7 to 16 April during Holy Week which represents a tourism alternative during these dates in the district of Boquete in the Chiriqui province. Serracin pointed out that during the event more than 25 exhibitors of orchids will participate, exhibiting 500 native, hybrid, and foreign plants, many of them are unique to their species. In addition, talks and workshops on planting, cultivation and correct nomenclature of orchids, will take place in the La Trocha salon 9 and 10 April . To this must be added the more than 16 gardens whose plants are at their flowering peak, the sale of national and Central American crafts, plus rides and restaurants which represent a variety of different activities within the three hectares comprising the Fair grounds.
