NewsLady Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Especially for “Mes de la Padria” (month of the homeland), Fundacion Biblioteca de Boquete has mounted an excellent exhibit of paintings by Panamanian artist Mario Ariel Saldaña. Most of the paintings feature styles that are derived from various folk art and long-standing Panamaian traditions. Saldaña is a well known artist in Panama City, who was originally from Chiriqui. However, this is the first time that he has exhibited here. Members of the Boquete Community are invited to come, and bring guests, to view this exhibit during regular hours through 30 November. This is another good way to get in touch with the culture of our adopted country. We think that you will find that Sadañas paintings are thoughtful, as well as colorful and fun! Quote
