The owners/administrators of Chiriqui.Life (CL) website are very pleased to announce the fifth podcast in a new series that is called "Chiriqui Life Stories". This new series of podcasts is produced by Michael Schwartz. Quoting from the description of the Chiriqui Life Stories category:

Quote

Chiriqui Life Stories are your stories -- the people of Chiriqui. The goal of these podcasts is to introduce you to the most interesting people of Chiriqui, whether they be locals, long time residents, newcomers, or people just passing through. Everyone has a story; what’s yours?

The subject of this podcast is Inga Collins, the owner of the Hotel Panamonte. Inga was born of Swedish parents in Panama City, educated in both Panama and the US. Her parents insisted that she learn her native Swedish language, and so she and her sister spent many of their childhood years on an island off the coast of Sweden, learning the culture, the language, the history, and the work ethics of the Swedish people. In the 1940s, Inga's parents purchased what is known today as the Hotel Panamonte, and upon their passing, Inga and her husband took over operations of that landmark hotel, along with their fishing business.
