Marcelyn
About a year ago we were shopping for a new refrigerator and went to a store in Panama City which was recommended by friends who live in the city. Located a unit (not exactly what we wanted, but thought it would fit our available space). I asked and was told the price was only $12,500. I requested the sales lady check her numbers. After several minutes of her fast markings on her notepad, she smiled at me and showed me the paper indicating $12,500. Needless to say we left the store immediately.......without making a purchase. Roger B
Marcelyn I am so surprise to know about a refrigerator that cost so much. Wow. It is almost the price of a small car!! I would have left that store running scared....
JudyS
Was it gold plated? Most refrigerators are in the $1,000 - $2,000 range.
TwoSailors
For that price it should cook your food, wash your dishes, and fold the laundry! Spoiler Edited August 15, 2016 by TwoSailors
Marcelyn
No, Judy. Just an ordinary unit. I think math was not the best school subject for this sales lady. Maybe had the decimal in the wrong spot, but was so proud of her numbers and unwilling to discuss or change her answer.
