NewsLady Posted August 6, 2016 Share Posted August 6, 2016 Mat Pilates is Great! and incorporating props- such as the Fitness Ring or Magic Circle, a foam roller, small and large stability balls, light hand weights and stretchy bands, makes it even better! Integrating a prop or props into your work-out helps to increase strength, power, stamina, concentration, coordination, balance and tone. Use your time efficiently and effectively to develop good posture, toned muscles, fluidity of movement, body-awareness, a flexible spine and a strong core! Increase self- esteem, longevity and bodily ease! Come fully home into your body and like living there! Substitutions initially, can be made for the Magic Circle and the Foam Roller- with a small ball and rolled up yoga mats. Using them, You will experience the movement and add either resistance or leverage to the exercise performed. These substitutions are provided to all incoming students, in addition to having an experience with either prop, to support you toward ordering your own. Ongoing Classes 4 mornings weekly: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 8:30 til 9:30 a.m. In the beautiful, fully equipped exercise room at the Haven. Hand weights, stretchy bands, different size balls, & yoga mats provided. Have your own Yoga mat? Bring it to be guaranteed 2 mats for when we go down to the floor. Classes for residents $8 each, or $10 for visitors/tourists. 2 class packages available: 4 classes for $30 or unlimited for $72, both to be taken in a month. * Note- One need not be a member of the Haven to take classes or partake of Spa Services.
