This is a real shame. Now, instead of the money benefiting Amigos de Animales, it will go to a private business. I hope Animales will establish their own Trivia Night.

I think the $3 admission will still go to the Handicap Foundation and Buenos Vecinos. Animales never got part of that. They got the rent money and the bar proceeds.

However, you're right. The animales facaility is definitely a better place to have trivia. The problem is (was) that Nairn and Nancy got tired of cooking every two weeks and wanted to concentrate their energies on paid catering events. The skating rink is in the business to sell food and drinks directly to the trivia players.

I didn't know that the Handicap Foundation and Buenos Vecinos profited from the admission. That's excellent, and what a great set up. But at this point Animales receives nothing if they are not receiving the rent money. I hope other arrangements can be made for food so that Tuesday Trivia can move back to the Animales building and all three charities benefit.
