JudyS
If there have been many new posts, why don't they show up when I click "New Content". That has been coming up empty for 3 days.

Administrators Admin_01 Posted October 23, 2015 Administrators Share Posted October 23, 2015 There haven't been any new posts for a couple of days. Is the rain getting everybody down? How the 'New content" button responds to your click is controlled by you. Look for the "Filter" option control. Where it displays depends on the device (e.g., desktop, tablet, etc.) that you are using to access Chiriqui.Life. But it is there, somewhere. You have a good many options to work with to meet your needs/desires.
JudyS
Can't find "filter". Won't bother looking any more, because Activity Stream works.
Bonnie
Click on "New Content." The filters are on the left side of the page.

Administrators Admin_01 Posted October 23, 2015 Administrators Share Posted October 23, 2015 Can't find "filter". Won't bother looking any more, because Activity Stream works. Judy, I see from a later posting that you have found the "filters" that are available when clicking on the "New content" button. For the benefit of others, here is a screen capture for a Windows machine, using Firefox as the browser.Note that for tablets and mobile devices, the "filters" is there somewhere on your screen, but certainly NOT like the below screen capture.Actually the "New content" button is extremely powerful, useful, and configurable. Thanks for hanging in there. And as some say, the "Activity stream" can also be used to find the newest content, but I personally find it awkward. Everyone is free to choose the tools that work best for them. One of the neat things about the software we chose for Chiriqui.Life is that it uses the latest in Internet technology and techniques. It does take some getting used to, but when you get comfortable with those tools, your productivity goes way up. Also, the search tool is very powerful as well.Happy to read that you did find the "Filters" capability.
