To contribute to the conservation of the various mangrove ecosystems and improve the living conditions of local populations, the Ministry of the Environment is developing a project for the recovery of the areas most affected by illegal mangrove logging, in Chame Bay.

the Chame Bay area covers a total area of 6,774.23 hectares of the Panamanian Pacific slope in the province of Panama.
