NewsLady Posted August 29, 2022 Posted August 29, 2022 Our hearts are breaking because we will be leaving Panama towards the end of September and can't realistically take our dear gentle Sisu with us. We are desperately looking for a new home for her, where she will be loved and spoiled like she has been the past 3 and a half years. Spending the rest of her life on a chain 24/7 is definitely not what we have in mind for her - she really needs and deserves to be an integral member of a loving family. Sisu is a 66lb Malinois (Belgian Shepherd) / Pitbull mix (better known as a pedigreed lapdog). She is a lively and active dog, but does like chilling after a long walk, fetching balls or playing tug-of-war. Sisu absolutely loves people, and especially children with whom she's extraordinarily gentle and patient. Sisu is chipped and was spayed at 6 months. She is obedience trained, and is great both on and off the leash. She responds to both verbal and non-verbal commands. She is completely house trained - we've never had an "accident" in all the years we've had her. She is not aggressive. She does not protect her food, nor does she take any food from counters, tables etc. Sisu is a generally quiet and calm dog, and does not bark without reason - even if the whole neighbourhood's dogs are going crazy at night.
