I am getting ready to follow Boquete Health and Hospices recommendations to prepare a folder of documents that would be found in my apartment upon death to direct and notify persons needed to arrange doctors cert of death, cremations, etc.

As I have little to no assets (no real estate, etc) I feel that I do not need to have a will. I would only leave a notarized letter appointing two friends who would collect things like cameras, mobile phones and computers and dispose of them as they see fit.

Anyone out there who has done something like that without using a will?
