Basic Hiking

Take-A-Hike is the premier hiking group in the District of Boquete, Republic of Panama. Our Advanced group for experienced hikers in good physical condition hikes 3 times per week. We desire to start a Basic Hiking group (or groups).

This is intended for those not up to hiking challenging mountain routes, recovering from medical conditions or who haven’t exercised. However we need people willing to lead these hikes. The hikes can be scheduled differently to suit the leader and participants.

Roger Imerman, the leader of Take-A-Hike will provide counsel, training and show the routes. This is a volunteer endeavor – no pay. If interested in improving your physical fitness and leading these easier hikes, please contact Roger at rimerman1@gmail.com.
