The team from Sona was returning from a fixture in Río de Jesús. According to the National Police, which is investigating the cause that led the driver to lose control of the bus, 27 people were traveling in the vehicle, of which 14 were injured and beaten. In addition to the athletes, family and friends were on the bus.
