Dr. Maria Ruiz was born and raised in Boquete, and has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management, an MBA in International Business, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Case Western Reserve University. She has more than 35 years experience working in the Panamanian coffee industry, including growing, green processing, roasting, tasting (cupping), and product development and marketing. In this particular presentation she talks about Boquete - its geography, topography, history, and its people.
