Pipeline damaged by contractor leaves thousands without water

A break in the 72-inch pipeline along the Corredor Norte, near the Tinajistas tanks, left sectors of the capital city and San Miguelito without water on Sunday with repairs expected to take up to 24 hours.

The sectors most affected are: La Pulida de Villa Lucre, Cerro Viento, Brisas del Golf, San Antonio, Costa del Este and Juan Díaz.

It was reported that the damage was caused by a private company, a contractor of the National Highway Company (ENA), when it was doing work on the North Corridor
