The Directorate of Traffic Operations of the National Police reported that 35,107 fines were imposed for various infractions, with speeding being the biggest offense with 12,322 In addition, 1,580 were recorded for inadequate lights, 530 for talking while driving, 440 for drunkenness, 66 for alcoholic breath and 50 drivers had an expired license. According to the statistics of the Traffic Directorate, in 2020, 603,474 sanctions were imposed, of which 220 ,897 were speeding.
