Tuesday, September 29, 2020 Panama Government Purchase 2020-0-40-0-08-LV-013203: "For the new polycarbonate card, the personal data that the card currently has will be stored as follows: Public data: ID Number, Name(s), Father's Last Name, Mother's Last Name, Married Last Name, Alias or Usual Name, Sex, Birth Date, Blood Type, Donor if applicable, date of issue and expiration of the ID, will be stored in a QR code, which will have encryption for the part that will contain the photo. The encryption of the photo must consider the minimum resolution so that when the QR code is read, the image is clear and distinct. The current design of the card is slightly changed to place the black and white image of the citizen on the left margin, maintaining a QR code. The size will be in accordance with ISO 14298 (ID-1) and a MRZ (machine reader zone) code under ICAO Doc. 9303, in its version in force at the time of contracting. It must be one hundred percent (100%) polycarbonate. Each card must be identified with a non-consecutive control number that includes capital letters so that it forms a security formula to be agreed upon by the Electoral Tribunal." Reference value: $8,135,094. Deadline for receipt of offers: November 16, 2020. See tender (in Spanish).
