At least three of the districts of La Pintada in Cocle Province  were  again affected by heavy weekend rains that since Saturday, October 19  have left more than 10 villages incommunicado, as a result of landslides that have blocked roads

According to residents of corregimientos El Harino, Las Lomas and El Portero, the rains lasted for almost six hours, which caused landslides on the road to Barrigón, General Torrijos Park, Potroso, La Rica, among others.

In El Potroso, two homes are at risk of being swept away because they are on the edge of the hillsides that threaten to break off.
