NewsLady Posted August 21, 2019 Share Posted August 21, 2019 The Ruta Sur, from Palmira to Potrerillos, is completed except the section west from Palmira Abajo. The Government of Panama has been unable to pay the contractor, CUSA who, in turn has been unable to pay his concrete supplier, without which they cannot complete the Jersey’s (concrete guard barriers), without which they cannot complete the asphalt work, without which, they cannot complete the project and, without which, we cannot drive direct from Boquete via Palmira to Portrellios. The Government says it will pay soon! I had dinner with the concrete supplier at the Nutri Hogar event, and he has extended a remarkable amount of credit to the contractor. Can’t ask for more.
