Once upon a time, (actually only a few months ago), an embryonic concept was put in motion and the Blood Donor Initiative Team was born. The team quickly geared up to create the FIRST EVER Blood Drive in Boquete. Despite this having never been done here, a language barrier for some, and cultural constraints, the team set forth with a Champions Program designed to inform and engage local businesses and their employees. THE MISSION: To save more lives by improving the availability of blood to all members of the community. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!! 47 pints of blood collected at the event made it a huge success. Thank you Boquete! The Blood Donor Initiative Team Yadira Florez " I was a bit afraid at first but my experience was very good." Veronica Patino "It was great.
