With a lot of local crime being attributed to juveniles in Chiriqui it's great to see a story where young people are making a positive difference.

These kids belong to a group who regularly donate to the Blood Bank at Hospital Obaldia in David.

There is a nationwide Blood Donor campaign tomorrow, August 26th. Those who qualify to donate can do so at Hospital José Domingo de Obaldia *, in David, from 8:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m.

* This is the Maternity and Pediatric Hospital on the PanAmerican Highway adjacent to the Regional Hospital Dr. Rafael Hernandez.

  • Between 18 and 65 years of age
  • Weigh more than 110 lbs.
  • No Flu
  • No Tatoos in the last 6 Months
