Penny Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Well, the police have been stopping cars at the Caldera Road intersection for a good month now. Sometimes on the northbound side, sometimes on the southbound side and lately on both sides. I think the original idea of having a police stop at that spot was to find the maleantes fleeing Boquete with a car load of stolen loot. However, where the police have chosen to set up is on the south side of the intersection. Any fleeing maleante only needs to take a left turn on the Caldera road and drive back to David that way. I wonder what the police have actually achieved other than maybe nailing a few folks with expired drivers licenses. Anybody know? Quote
Bonnie Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I always figured it was to spot and turn back (or detain) maleantes from David. 1 Quote
