Panama: Asphalt Plant Planned

In an area of one hectare in Guacala, in Chiriqui, a plant to produce asphalt concrete is planned, with an estimated investment of $5 million.

According to the interactive information system "Construction in Central America" presented by CentralAmericaData, Constructora Urbana, S.A. presented the Environmental Impact Study of the project called "Installation of an Asphalt Plant for the Public Works Rehabilitation CPA Gualaca-Chiriquí Grande, in the Province of Chiriquí."

The project consists of the temporary installation (18 months) of a mobile asphalt plant, model ADM RB 160 to produce hot asphalt concrete for the road project concerned.

The document details that the asphalt plant has the following components: Dryer, burner, external mixer, control cabin, aggregate and asphalt dosage, automatic dosage system, aggregate dryer, chimney, dispensers, folded belts, fine filtering and recovery, static separator plus bag filter, automatic and manual operation system, unloading of the bituminous mixture.

CentralAmericaData has information on public and private construction projects to be developed in Central American countries, with details such as estimated investment, project times and phases, materials and equipment that will be required during and after construction, water treatment, structure of parking lots, among other things.
