The arrests occurred during cross-country operations carried with 3 276 foreigners being investigated for violating the Immigration Law. Colombian citizens headed the list of detainees (177), followed by Venezuela (167), Dominicans (46) and Nicaraguans (36), Other countries accounted for 38.
