The Pilates Exercise System creates long, lean, strong, flexible and balanced muscles. The Pilates Technique leads all movement from the Core, strengthening the muscles of the abdomen and lower back. It serves to correct [or make less severe] asymmetries of the spine, teaches whole body movement, instructs better balance, improves coordination and creates better posture. 

The Pilates System integrates the body/mind & strengthens the nervous system. It is a complete & widely diverse system of exercise and movement- terrific for all life stages.
Pilates for men and women who strive to be fit and enjoy life to the fullest! Pilates for those who know that fitness and good health require discipline and devotion, and don't have a short cut or magic potion.
Pilates Side Stretch Using the Magic Circle. Facing the mirror to perfect one's posture, pull-in & deeply connect with one's core & to lengthen the stretch. Feels Great!
Ongoing Weekday Classes- Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays, 8:30 til 9:45 a.m. Weekend Classes- Saturdays 10:30 til 11:45 a.m., & Sundays 11:15 til 12:30 p.m.
In the beautiful fitness studio at the Haven. One class is $9, a package of 4 classes to be taken within a month is $30 and a package of unlimited classes for a month is $72. Packages may consist of both weekday & weekend classes. All props provided, including small balls, big balls, stretchy bands, light hand weights, magic circles & yoga mats. Have your own yoga mat? Bring it to be guaranteed two for when we go down to the floor. 
Classes taught by Susan Clare, Certified Pilates Instructor with 26 years teaching experience. Also a certified Yoga Therapist, retired Licensed Massage Therapist and a former Personal Trainer in a hospital gym. Susan is passionate about Pilates and fully dedicated to preserving the Pilates System of Exercise & Movement. Her Passion is infectious as is the Energy of her group classes.
