"It is estimated that by 2030 more than 47,000 Panamanians will have this disease," said a statement from the AN, which said the data is in a study prepared "by a multinational company in Panama engaged in the pharmaceutical industry and biotechnology". The parliament said Thursday in a public statement that in the commemoration of the "World Alzheimer's Day" on September 21, each year, the Department of Opportunity Equalization made a tour of several directions to raise awareness in the staff about the disease. The workers of the Parliament "were given a small talk on prevention regarding the first symptoms of this condition, and, how to react when a case is presented in the family".
