We are currently in the early phases of a worldwide coronavirus (COVID19) epidemic and probable pandemic. We receive conflicting and incomplete information. It seems that the virus hardly affects children and younger people but can be deadly for middle age and older people, especially those with other pre-existing health problems. We are fortunate to live in the mountains of Panama where the humidity is reasonably low this time of year and away from major travel centers, although we do have tourists who come here from various areas where there may already be infections of the virus
