  1. The problem is that I had some expensive magnetic signs made for my car with the newly created gmail address! Now I can't log in and with no verification info, there's no way I can change the password that who knows was created, not by me. All the "maybe" info on the web is outdated.
  2. I created a secondary gmail username. It didn't ask me for a password or email recovery or phone recovery information, so I thought it would be the same as my primary gmail account. But when I try to log into the secondary account, the password is not recognized. I have searched for HOURS about how to either delete the secondary account (and then reenter it) or recover the password. I've been sent in circles every time. Grrrr! Can anyone please help me? Thank you!
  3. I post up-to-date information about Panama on my Delphi forum and I posted the article about SkyPower on October 6th. http://forums.delphiforums.com/panamaexpats
  4. I am surprised at the businesses that continue to advertise on ning--and am disappointed in them. Big congratulations to Planet Telecom for canceling their ad on ning!
  5. Wars on everything to distract the people from the fact that the US government is BROKE, DEAD BROKE. War on drugs, war on terror, war on poverty...nice words about "wars" that have never been won and never will be.
  6. Great farewell ode! I'm sure all those posts by Ambreen in "Spread the Word" are fake. Why XXX out their names? Why don't the people enthralled with newning post their praises themselves?
  7. Kris and I have already exchanged private emails about this, and I apologized for my blanket statement. And no, I didn't know she crops ears, so I acknowledge how she could have been offended.. Yes, spaying, while VERY necessary, is more invasive than cropping ears. After all, the vet is going inside the animal. I, too, wish Kris didn't have to do the cropping, Maybe that will change in Panama, we hope. I saw the picture of the Doberman on this topic with uncropped ears and I think he/she is beautiful! Much more beautiful with intact ears in my opinion.
  8. An excellent treatment for itchy ears: Mix half and half alcohol and apple cider vinegar (preferably raw). Put about 10cc into each ear, one at a time, and massage the ear well for 10 seconds or so. I think this would also work for yeast in the ears.
  9. Thanks for the kind words, and no, Dr. Tello does not cut ears or tails. It is VERY cruel.
  10. Thanks! Please visit often. Delphi has a great search engine, "advanced search" near the top left. Also in that area, under "Show Discussions" you can choose to see All messages, messages just today, two days ago, and numerous other options. If you click "My Preferences" toward the upper right, there are many options, including the ability to receive full-text messages to your email inbox. I'm using the "Classic format" but also under Preferences you can change to a Zeta format. And then change back if you don't like it. Also, in that upper right area, there's a "Help" link that takes you to the Delphi support team. They are very helpful If you want to ignore a person, just click on their user name and there is an "ignore" option. Mine is just one forum, but there are lots and lots of useful Delphi forums. Click on "Forums" at the upper right to do a search for other Delphi forums that interest you. Thanks again for visiting Panama Expats Dottie
  11. I appreciate this new Chiriqui Life, and I'd like for the members here also to visit my Delphi forum, Panama Expats, at http://forums.delphiforums.com/panamaexpats It's a great place to keep up with the politics in Panama, the corruption in Panama, and what's happening with Martinelli and his "zero circle" criminals. Sure, you can read those articles in various places, but I glean information daily from numerous sites. At Panama Expats, you can keep aware of current Panama events all in one place. There are also folders about Pet Health & Issues, Health & Nutrition, World Economy & Issues, Humor, Recipes, and much more. And nothing is "off topic." I've hesitated to widely publicize Panama Expats because I don't want it to end up like the yahoo groups with mostly inane blather. I did post the URL on Gringos in David some time back, for which I was severely reprimanded (and banned) for mentioning my Delphi forum there. We have a Chiriqui Happenings folder, but currently there is very little focus about Chiriqui, specifically David, Volcan, and Boquete. I'd like to change that with your help. I can create folders for those topics. Just let me know what y'all want. I'd like for Chiriqui Life and Panama Expats to be PREMIER sources for information regarding Panama and Chiriqui. Thanks for your participation! We hope to see you at Panama Expats. Just like on Chiriqui Life, there's a slight learning curve. Just ask if you have questions, and also the Delphi help team is very responsive and helpful.
  12. Really? Last time I bought it at Productos Quimicos Ibis it was $10 per gallon. I use distilled water for my autoclave for the spay/neuter clinics. I buy it at Casa de Baterias, the one near Mail Boxes, Etc. It is $3.75 per gallon.
  13. I upgraded to Win10 on my secondary computer and I HATED it. I went back to 7. Yes, Microsloth will eventually stop support for 7, but not for five more years. Stay with 7!
  14. The hospital is open but with limited services. As far as I know, they are still lacking equipment and people to operate it. The emergency room is open part time.
