    Well, it's finally here - It's time to see who won! Saturday June 16th, 5:30 in The Clubhouse at BCP. Tickets at the door: Only $5.00 admission will get you a free Rum Punch - Rum donated by Panama Red - our major sponsor this year. There will also be free popcorn. Anything else you need can be purchased from the bar, and Leslie will have a special for the evening - her ever-popular Pulled Pork Sliders! Find out who won the prizes, given by Big Daddy's Beach Resort, The Haven and NotSeryus Productions. There will be chance to discuss the videos with the judges and videographers. Maybe you will be inspired to make your own for the next competition in 2019. Everyone welcome

    Next week is the main event! The Clubhouse at BCP is hosting the BVF Awards, starting 5:30pm on June 16th. Entry fee is $5:00 which will get you a free Rum Punch and Popcorn. Prizes donated by Big Daddy's Beach Club, The Haven and NotSereyus Productions for the Best Video, Runner Up and YouTube Favourite. You can also snap up one of our much sought after High Quality Golf Shirts for whatever amount you would like to donate to Buenos Vecinos Boquete. Come along and see who wins the big prizes this year. You can still vote for your favourite on our YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3VUg5PZFyq-cKgxRXPRj2g All the videos are available there, including the best from last year.

    If you are registered as an entrant, you should have received an email asking you to confirm that you are submitting your video. We need to know Title, Category and duration by May 6th so that we can compile the program. Please confirm by that date that you are actually making your video, if you need help, email info@boquetevideofestival.org

    There are now two months left for you to upload your video for this year's competition. All entries must be received by May 31st. If you have already signed up for the competition, you should have received full details on how to upload and the technical requirements. If you have not received them, or have any questions please email us on info@boquetevideofestival.org. If you feel you need to attend a workshop on shooting your video, email at the same address and we will arrange something. We will have a table every week at the BCP Tuesday Market where you can still sign up, ask questions or buy a shirt. Now, stop reading facebook and get out there and shoot your video!

    Unfortunately due to other commitments we will be unable to have a table at the Tuesday market tomorrow (March 27th) If you are there before 10:15 and want to talk to someone about it, please ask for Phil at the BCP table outside the theater door.

    I would think that people who have navigated through "CL" to Forums, to Boquete Video Festival (BVF) and found an entry labelled BVF Promotional Video can probably figure it out.

    We delayed this year's festival from its original February date, but rest assured it IS happening in June. Many people had said they could not complete their videos for February, mostly because of holidays and all the events happening around that time, so we moved to a quieter period. If you have already submitted a video, wonderful! If you want to change it in any way and re-submit it, please do so. if you have signed up, but not finished yet - now is the time to get into action!! All the details are on our website - www.boquetevideofestival.org. if you need help, we will organise further workshops or hands-on training, just let us know - either here or by email to info@boquetevideofestival.org.
