    I WOULD LIKE TO BRING  ATTENTION TO A 'ASSISTED LIVING HOME' LOCATED IN DOLEGA NEAR THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING. IT IS PANAMANIAN RUN AND THE OWNERS AND STAFF DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. IF YOU SPEAK CONVERSATIONAL SPANISH OR ARE A  PANAMANIAN OR  RELATIVE WHO IS IN NEED OF A ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY FOR A MONTH OR LONGER YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN VISITING THIS FACILITY. IT IS VERY REASONABLE WITH SHARED OR PRIVATE UNITS (SOME WITH AIR CONDITIONING, $600-$1000, MO.), THREE PANAMANIAN STYLE MEALS A DAY (OR YOU COULD BUY YOUR OWN FOOD AND THE CHIEF WOULD COOK IT FOR YOU), A VERY LARGE SOCIAL AREA ROOM WITH A COMMUNITY TV. CURRENTLY THERE ARE 10 RESIDENTS (MALE & FEMALE), I'VE SEEN  SEVERAL WATCHING TV AND CONVERSED WITH ONE WHOM I INQUIRED HOW HE LIKED IT AND HE SAID IT WAS VERY PEACEFUL AND QUITE. THE OWNER AND STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING. DO NOT COMPARE IT AGAINST ANY STATESIDE ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY $5,000. OR MORE A MO., THIS IS PANAMA. IT LOOKS PRETTY SMALL FROM THE OUTSIDE BUT ONCE YOU GO INSIDE IT IS A LOT BIGGER. IT HAS FREE INTERNET 600 MEGS DOWN.     Location: Rios Arriba (2 Rivers) 2.5 km from Dolega central,
    25 km from Boquete (approx. 20 mins.), 15 minutes to David,

    This is a house constructed on a 1700+ lot 
    1/2 acre). It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath (hot water shower),

    Double bed, a Refrigerator, a Stove/oven, Washing Machine.

    There is a 6 ft. , chain link fence surrounding the property. 
    The front and back doors to the house are metal security doors 
    locks in the side and bottom of the doors with outer 
    doors. All the windows have designer metal bars 
    the inside of the window frame which cannot be  
    outside the house. All the windows have screens that are 
    easy cleaning. There is no crime to speak of in Rios.
    The house is located in a lovely tranquil area with great neighbors.  
    Rios, as the name implies, is surrounded by two rivers. The locals use 
    for recreation, fishing and swimming. Rios is basically flat, 
    (great for bicycling), and lies halfway between David and 
    Boquete. The climate is cooler than David, warmer, drier and less
    Boquete, with no (drizzle). A very peaceful area.

    The property has Orange, Mango (2 big trees), Papaya, Banana, 
    Avocado and Coffee Plants. Feel free to help yourself. Lots of room 
    garden to grow what you like. Even though Rios does not 
    water shortage/delivery problem that is associated with 
    Boquete, 600-gallon water reserve tanks and new water pump have
    . An 8' X 10' concrete storage shed has been Water is supplied by the Rios Community Junta.
    A street lamppost is located in front of the property and motion 
    are installed on all sides of the house.

    The rent is $500. , Utilities not included in the rent are:

    BAD NEWS FOR DOG OWNER'S WHOSE DOGS LOVE KIRKLAND DOG BISCUITS. TODAY, FOR THE UMPTEENTH  TIME, WE VISITED PRICESMART LOOKING FOR THE KIRKLAND BRAND DOG BISCUITS. THEY HAD NONE. A PRICESMART EMPLOYEE WAS TAKING INVENTORY WITH TWO HELPERS CLOSE TO THE DOG FOOD AILE. MY WIFE INQUIRED ABOUT THE KIRKLAND DOG BISCUITS, THE EMPLOYEE CHECKED HER COMPUTER AND SAID NONE WERE ON ORDER FOR THE PANAMA PRICESMARTS BUT  THE KIRKLAND DOG BISCUITS WERE BEING DELIVERED TO OTHER LATIN AMERICAN PRICESMART STORES. WE TOLD HER THAT MANY PEOPLE LIKED THAT BRAND. ON THE WAY OUT OF THE STORE, AT THE HELP DESK, I SPOKE TO AN EMPLOYEE ABOUT THAT AND SHE TOOK MY NAME AND NUMBER.  I THINK IT MIGHT BE GOOD FOR OTHER DOG OWNERS WHO HAD BOUGHT  THE KIRKLAND BISCUITS  BEFORE TO VOICE THEIR OPINION WHEN SHOPPING AT PRICESMART, WHO KNOWS, THEY MIGHT ORDER SOME IN THE FUTURE.  KEEP THE PRESSURE UP!!!

    On the night of this Monday, January 15, the Panamanian bank Global Bank, through a statement, rejected the Public Ministry's statements related to the "Blue Apple" case and stated that they complied with all protocols and regulations in the country.

    "For the case" Blue Apple Services "and other companies, where the factoring activity carried out by our subsidiary Factor Global is mentioned, we wish to clarify that the contracts subject to such commercial exercise were the result of State tenders duly awarded and endorsed." , says the company's statement.

    Global Bank affirmed that it has collaborated with the authorities in the investigations it carries out and that they are open to continue contributing in the process of the investigations that are carried out.
